Esa Milwaukee-Wauwatosa

I'm working on a grant for the National Institutes of Health that is due early next week. Once that's done, it's full-on preparation for our month-long Journey to India. Daisy is doing her Santa impression (making her list, checking it thrice) and we received 4 new pieces of luggage the other day. <br><br>The airline tickets are booked and now we just have to finalize some domestic trips while on the sub-continent.<br>

Exciting times! One more day before the big trip and we are doing out last minute preparations before we go. There are things to be packed though and that will get done tonight and then a little bit more tomorrow. We have an evening flight so we should be pretty well rested and ready to scout about Copenhagen as soon as we get checked into the hotel.<br><br>Stay tuned for more!<br>

... I know it is still early, but it gave me a peace thinking I had a place for sure. I know God will provide, whether through this family or another. The family got back to us yesterday (the day after I wrote this,) and confirmed. =) PRAISE THE LORD!!!

... tour! Too bad I didn't bring my camera to that, because now all I have is a dozen **** camera phone pictures of Travis Barker's fly-over-the-crowd drum solo! Amazing. Anyway thanks to the hospitality of Rob and his friends (well most of them j/k lol rofl), although short-lived, I had a great time in Milwaukee and certainly hope to visit again.

I figured I would get this entry in now as I will be getting up in the wee hours of the morning tomorrow and hopping in the truck for another four hour drive to Rock Island where I will be working until Saturday afternoon. Or as the description puts it ...

I decided that it was a good time to go home and visit my folks at the end of January, so spending some of my frequent flyer miles, I was able to get a roundtrip flight for about ten dollars and a little less than half of my miles. Awesome! Maybe I will even get a little golf in with my dad!  I'm sure the weather will be warm enough.  LOL
