... don't know what to expect from Ireland, don't get me wrong It's gonna be a blast even if the highlight is gonna be the sceanary.
Just a little side note to everyone, (or to the one person that decides to read this), I have never been good at keeping up with these things, journals, blogs whatever. My intention is to write in this whenever possible but the fun may overtake me and I might not get around to it, but if ...

... a lovely restuarant called deSha's. We had a great meal complimented by the sweet southern price tag!
Kentucky definitely treated us well, we enjoyed ourselves thourougly. Sarah is pretty sure that if her mom wound up here, she'd never come home! While it's raining now, we are enjoying the "Kamper Kitchen" and looking forward to the next destination. Tenessee, here we come!
We took off with the fifth wheel up to Lexington, KY, where we would see some champion horses at Juddmonte Farms. That evening, when we got in to Lexington, we checked in at the RV park at the Kentucky Horse Park. It's quite a nice area. Then we went and ate at Bob's Big Boy, where Ashley had (what else??) a bacon cheeseburger! ;-)
On Saturday morning, we started the day off in fine Southern ...

I stepped in because of the ice cream cone painted on the window and thought I was transported through time.
... than the ones in the south - dare we say "hillbilly country"? Come to think of it, shortly after crossing the border we noticed several billboards advertising "Adult Peep Show - Open 24 hrs" and "Adult Books & Videos ahead". I've come to the conclusion that Kentuckians really enjoy life - gamble at the horse races, drink a little Kentucky bourbon, watch a few adult videos then pick which church you want to go to on Sunday. Sounds like a well-rounded life to me!

Mount Sterling, Kentucky, United States marijkaToday, I drove from Louisville to Lexington to have lunch with a friend. The horse ranches around the area are gorgeous -- clearly gentlemen ranchers, not true farmers. I saw lots of men in camouflage, so I decide NOT to walk in the woods, lest I be mistaken ...
Lexington, Kentucky, United States ahartry... to hear you talk. They rarely ever leave the city they live in. They love to hear about your life even though they only understand so much. When I rode thru downtown Mae Hong Son I'm thinking I know where I want to stay, but where in the hell is the place. I printed off a picture of the place I stayed previously & asked a few Thai's; no one had a clue where on the river. I feel like I'm back in US small town city, all saying "I don't know". I think to myself; how long have they lived ...
