800 River Drive South Great Falls, Montana, United States, 59405, 406-761-7524
... elk and deer here. Many clear lakes and ponds and rivers and the sky is so blue and then there are the mountains in the foreground. Beauty everywhere you turn. This went on all the way south through Alberta and some of the road was so straight that you could see 10 miles ahead of you with the hills and checking the minutes it took to get to that far hill down the road. We stayed last night at a Lions Centenial RV park in ...
Great Falls, Montana, United States schroederdTwo years ago when we did a house swap we spent a month fishing the Missouri river , so when we came back into town we stopped at the old house, filled the water tanks , and headed for a small campsite on the river, only known by the locals. We spent two nights here, Brent fished the river with a friend, and Jo knitted socks.

Also our computer died and we feel we are missing our right arm, hence the short entries

A little narrower than ideal but it worked, especially for using the spray glue that keeps the layers from shifting.

By noon on Friday it was decided that the weather was not going to improve and that everyone was free to do their own thing until Sunday night. Great Falls, Montana, United States momaduncDon finally slowed down enough today that when he tried to watch a movie he fell asleep. We walked a bit after supper and I had to share my Montana sunset with you. There is a small park just outside the fence of the park. Although we are located on a noisy corner where two main roads come together it is shady and handy to downtown.
Great Falls, Montana, United States momaduncToday I travelled with one of the two 'supper wagons' into the remote areas east and north of Great Falls, towards the Canadian border. I've been hearing about this area since the beginning of the trip and how one of the more remote farms is a breeding ground for rattlesnakes. In previous years they have actually seen nests or balls of rattlesnakes. The land is beautiful and I had an opportunity to talk to one of the farmers and asked her about the remoteness. Cathy's ...

Even so, they figure 100,000+ had attended over the two weeks of the fair. Exhibits were also down.

A great way to get to know this community.

When we are near each destination, we are supposed to call our Wagonmaster on the CB to let him know that we are arriving and he lets us know where to park.

Once we're all safe and sound at each campground, we stick together for the scheduled activities.
Great Falls, Montana, United States nocknock... has been repeatedly dammed (Lewis and Clark's Camp Fortunate further south is under a reservoir), so the section of the river by our hotel (about 100 feet from the building and several miles upstream from the Black Eagle Dam) is wide and calm - in fact, it's a reservoir. But... the trail along the river is lovely, full of birds - including scores of the spectacular American White Pelican, which are huge - bees ...
Great Falls, Montana, United States linda_allen... a "medical" treatment. Does she say that to all the customers? Or was that What? Is!? I've also been curious as to why she was there. I noticed 3 booths with these products in the Casino. They are always there. The other woman at the booth was American. I do know suppliers send representatives to sell their products in these booths on occasion to train staff. The funny thing is that the original products she sold me are from a Japanese company, not the Dead Sea Company that ...

However the Mormans were already skilled at irrigation and their arrival was the catalyst needed, Stirling, Raymond and Magrath were born. The area now prospers fed by irrigation systems, evidence of which is frequently seen as you drive around. The Japanese also had a part to play in Alberta's history as they too worked on ...
