Travel Blogs from Soller

Palma, Mallorca

A travel blog entry by eliandvicky

Today we reached Mallorca. We visited the cathedral of Mallorca which is on a hill and overlooks the sea. The views up there are breathtaking. The cathedral itself is quite big with lots of rooms full of artefacts to explore. Inside, they have one very unusual altar designed in 2008 and it depicts the creation of the world. It's very modern and not like anything we have seen so far. It kind of looked out of place with all the old antique items ...

I figured they were old, I should be able to keep up. Well, let me tell you something. They kicked my ass! They hike every weekend multiple times a weekend and are in great shape. ...

First day of Work

... learned a bit about being behind the reception desk, but I mostly learned how to make freaking awesome coffee in those fancy espresso machines! It was amazing. Fernando is the waiter and he's super cool and patient. Today I made espresso, cafes, cafe con leche, americanos and a cappuccino! Probably going to be one of my ...
