    ... to beach- Si blew up the inflatables and we were sorted! The med has to be my fav sea.. Sandy warm and doesn't get too deep too quick, so lots of swimming! We now have a beach bat and ball rally of 329!!! Each day we had to beat our previous rally to get an ice cream and 329 is our final score to date. Yesterday we played tennis on their lovely courts... I actually won the first game!! Yeahyyy!!! But the victory was short lived due to Simons skills! We would usually get back ...

    ... is fab and air conditioned. Chilled for a bit then all showered then found a basic but great tapas bar - friendly service and fab food and cheap to boot.     ... since we've managed to anchor a fair bit and therefore save precious money we will invest our savings in a water maker so that next year we don't have to worry so much and can do laundry as necessary; rinse after dipping in salty water; do dishes daily etc etc.

    ... quick stop and change over and Lorna took over driving duties... Unfortunately after about an hour of Lorna driving, it was very stop start and we were drastically losing the race against the Sat Nav as Lorna made about 15 mins progress within an hour.. We changed over after Lorna did a couple of hours, I got a coffee from the services and we stretched out legs a big before what was supposed to be the last 2 hours of the journey, fortunately it was reasonably straight forward ...

    ... called Bessan. Some miles inland and not on the tourist track, it was a quaint and quiet town. It's good to see a town that isn't based on tourism. We ate sandwiches and fruit in a small square in the town and then resumed our drive. The driving conditions were good and we travelled about the speed limit, up to 130kmh, and reached Perpignan a bit after 1.30pm. Our last toll cost 8 euro so the total would've been 40-50 euro. We had to fill the car up before dropping it off ...
