... to say we haven’t required the use of a laxative since we arrived on Kos!
On arrival at the wonderful Kos Marina (if Carlsberg made marinas then they would probably be like this) we were met by the pilot boatman who escorted us to our berth, assisted us to tie up and greeted us like old friends. Then, to cap it all, we discovered that they are still charging the same price (20 euros) that they were in 2007 when we first sailed in here – remarkable.

Yes, you heard that correctly. Kelly met him at a BAR. While her sister Brittany was in the hospital, Kelly was having a drink at a BAR. This was news to us. Kelly pretended not to remember it. Kelly and Sarah met Evan at a bar on Santorini. We sat around the cafe talking about our travels. Matt was ...
Bodrum, Muğla Province, Turkey kickthrough... they come and take wild dogs. I called the Gundogan Municaplity and they told me that I need to contact the Bodrum branch as they were directed by a new European Union Law that requires that animals should be collected unless they are ill or disabled. Even if they are collected, they needed to be brought to an Animal Shelter in Bodrum. According to this new ordinance, dogs are to wander freely as they belong to the nature. (I would rather not make any comment on this new ...

Bodrum - Mugla, Turkey bluevoyage... I had a great time one evening chatting with an Israeli dude that was staying in my room. He gave me tons of great advice and I'm now pumped for my visit there. There was an English pub playing great tunes below our hostel where we ran into a group of about 15 kids (really...they were all 18) in a foreign study program in Izmir. They were mostly Brazilians, but there were also a few ...

They then brought out a huge heavy polished chest and tied it to one side of the beast and an equally large and heavy basket to the other side. He was then allowed to rise and lead the procession followed by the musicians, people with gifts and then cars with ribbons hanging from the wing mirrors. No-one was dressed in any sort of finery. I'm not sure at what stage of the wedding this ...
