... Welcome to New Hampshire! We won't be here long though as we are just passing through. There are great little towns here and I love the houses and White Birch Trees!
After a short drive...Maine! We are stopping just across the border. I am hoping this will be a state we visit for a while and I want to really enjoy JUST ...

... was tough. We did the first two miles relatively easily. During which, we saw streams, waterfalls, chipmunks and...snow. That's right, Hayley saw snow for the first time! It was fairly weak though; merely a layer of ice over part of the trail. Nonetheless, it was cool.

... noticed as we drove in to downtown Gorham was the railroad museum. Unfortunately it was closed by the time we got here. The rail line here is ex Grand Trunk. Now it's a G & W property, the St. Lawrence and Atlantic RR. I was told that trains run sporadically. I wish there was more to say, but after a full day of driving I'm tired and ready to just veg out for a bit. Until tomorrow, ...

... was situated in a museum. It was of course closed for the season (there's a lot of that going on here) so we carrried on and fortunately happened upon another one and then another one which was an old railway bridge, the last still in regular use in Vermont. We stopped for lunch at the Moose look diner. A packed diner which served giagantic meals, as do many of the diners here. It was full of locals and I doubt that they see many ...
