The work itself was very easy; we painted the walls and dog houses, but the majority of the time was spent looking after the dogs and ensuring that they were okay. There were always new puppies arriving each day so much of the time was spent playing ...

Our last day in Turkey was a rollacoaster of emotions. We woke early and had our hotel owner take us to the bus station to catch a 5:45 bus to Dalaman airport, we checked in and were heading to our gate happy, when former Travel Agent of the month realized he had made a major error. ... and enough space to get off the tourist trail.
Back on the bus and off to Fethiye which is a port town also decimated by an earthquake in the late 50s. A beautiful natural harbour with many different types of boat - tourist, fishing and some rather nice private yachts. We walked along for a while stopping for a drink to get our bearings. Busy town with large beautiful mosque bustling with activity as it's Friday prayers. Strangely the school children ...
