... but we felt funny taking them. We stayed at a guesthouse that is self sustained with its orchards, chickens, pigs etc. They make their own rajika spirit and red wine. It's family run so it is almost like a home-stay. It was nice and we were offered two weeks volunteering at their hostel in the city which we accepted. Intermediary being seems to be the hot period to be over and it is again a pleasant 30 degrees.
I'm after 3 days on the beach in the sun ready and have to go. Finally, I still have to reach another goal. Drive around all morning in the mountains of Greece and Albania. Gorgeous!

... Anita that this was the best solution but eventually we rode 20 kilometres as far as the first town called Rėshen. By the time we left the motorway it was almost dark but, fortunately, there was very little traffic. A car stopped by and asked what we were looking for. They were really kind and even offered to follow us all the way to the hotel but we didn't want to waste their time.
We found quite a good hotel in the town ...
