... at 2.45. Stinking hot and even hotter on the boat but I snagged a seat next to one of the few air conditioning units and bought a large bottle of Bohemia Sekt (which reminded me somewhat of the Asti Spumante of my formative years) and hunkered down for the duration.

... things have changed since the USSR collapsed. We had the chance to visit a legal street art wall where some folks were painting... we also saw several less-than-legal street art murals that were all really quite stunning. Finishing up the tour at Cross Club and seeing their, as Ben says: "steampunk" styled outdoor restaurant, we headed back to the hotel... ahem, for more gelato.

... by German gunfire, and then in an effort to silence the Prague Uprising against the Axis, several vehicles were set alight, burning much of the Town Hall and wooden aspects of the clock beyond repair. It took three years to repair following the end of the war. ... I won't let it spoil the rest of my trip. Craig helps to ease the sting by buying dinner this evening. What a sweetheart!

After dinner we walk over to Wenceslas Square, which is buzzing with activity even on Christmas Eve. There are beautiful examples of Art Nouveau architecture here, plus restaurants and casinos and discos. We scout out the location for our farewell dinner tomorrow night, and then head home. My feet feel like they have walked 10 miles ...

... about the bike. But you know there was no way Dan was forgetting his precious project. There we were at the Prague bus station with two huge bags (which aren't that big in comparison to all the bags we have seen on this trip surprisingly enough) and this bike. We were attempting to put re-strap on Dan's bag to the luggage rack of the bike and we were not having any luck doing so.
