    ... looking the lake and back down, and down and round and down!!!!! Taking in stunning views, a walk to a hermitage retreat and monestery and a beautiful Romanesque church. Spent the afternoon in the garden, Al Lago before our final dinner in the hotel. Tomorrow, we head off after breakfast , quick stop off in the town of Salo at the bottom of the lake before returning our trusty Italian stallion hire car ( or similar ) and flight home.     ... for sale. Grappa is made from all the crushed grape skins and pulp and was first made during the Depression when the ordinary people couldn't afford wine! It is very strong, between 40 and 70% alcohol, and the plain one tastes pretty horrid, but some of the flavoured ones are excellent!
