... The lake was lovely today. The further out you go the clearer the water it was lovely and warm towards the surface and cool but not cold underneath. It was very easy to swim in no current no waves no salt I reckon given enough time I could swim the whole lake but it would take while I don't think you could rush anything here! The park was fun. ...

... We sat and waited for the tour to start as I cooled down in this new environment. The unfortunate thing a a result of this warm Pete and freezing cold air was that steam was literally rising off my head and body in impressive quantities. While all the European tourists were dressing in ski gear in preparation to enter the cave, Rob decided to photograph and film my reaction to the drastic temperature change. I'm sure I got a few strange looks... But after ...

... and their two dogs, both spaniels, forgot the exact breed. One was 3 years and the other 15. It was hot, and even hotter in the gondola, we had grave fears for the 15 year old, it was breathing hard, and didn't sound like it should be out hiking in the 35 degree sun. But once at the top of Karwendel Peak, 1480m, it was fine, and happy to run through the wild flowers famous to the alps. At the peak were also the ever present para gliders, what a view they had! We didn't waste ...
