While yesterday was about Richard achieving a bucket-list goal and climbing the majestic Stelvio alpine mountain, today saw Susan achieve her goal of cycling further than she ever has before, through some of the most beautiful scenery imaginable. But more on that later..... We started the day with breakfast in the stately dining room of the Bellevue Hotel. Chandeliers, high ceilings, a fancy waiter, and yummy eggs, cheeses and cold meats as per most brekkies over ...

... Daniella) to take our order. We were hot, so we ordered draft beer, "Forst".

Ordering was a little hard because there were no menus in English. Our initial request was a Greek salad of tuna and eggs, because it was easy to translate. This clearly concerned the owner, as she quickly talked us out of that, saying, "This is an Italian kitchen! You can get tuna and eggs at home. " ...

... to visit the Bolzano Museum of Anthropology where he is now housed in state (frozen) and see him for myself.

He lived more than 5,000 years ago, but I was able to look closely at his copper axe (high quality metalworking), his yew bow and his various implements. He had over 50 tattoos, all similar, and ate roast ibex meat less than an hour before he was killed. He ...
