    ... journey even given the road works and we arrived in Dresden just after 3pm (left Berlin at 1230) For a small(er) city it was quite busy. The hotel is nice and central and we walked to dinner.     ... town of Pirna then got a train back. Pirna was a typical larger town with many charming old buildings, town square, cobblestone walkways, churches etc, so hard to take! The public transport in this country is most efficient, back to our hotel was so easy. Sunday was a much more strenuous day.
