... her temple and a truly huge and amazing stadium in great condition. Additionally all the magnificent statues were in a museum and easily seen and appreciated. We next had a lovely lunch in another outdoor area with a cute man playing a balalaika with a dancing parrot!!

Next we drove several hours until we reached a Greek ghost town called Kayakoy. The story behind this town was very sad indeed – as it was part of the ...

Our hotel in Fethiye (Marina Vista) is overlooking some spectacular yachts berthed in the marina, so dinner on Friday night under the moonlight and over the water lapping underneath us was wonderful. Saturday was a lazy start of 10.15am which saw 18 of the 24 of us spend the day on our own yacht. Travel note: Yes, it looks like I'm always wearing the same clothes, but I have 5 of the same black shirts and 2 of the same blue ones with me. The easiest way to mix and match with a small backpack of clothes, when doing laundry is always an inconvenience while always on the move, is to have a bunch of the exact same clothes.

After arriving late at Fethiye (fett-tee-yah) during this unseasonal cold snap, it was time for to try a Turkish bath.

... ever. Although some people were a bit dubious about it being the "best game ever" it didnt take too long before we all were postponing dinner to continue our round of P & A. That evening, after eventually drawing ourselves away from our card game, we all went to a bar called "Smugglers Cove". It was a small open air pub that was mainly just a wooden deck on the edge of the water. Most of the songs that were played were released before we were all born, ...
