... Mudbath/Spa). Arriving at the Resort we walked around looking at the different facilities and weren't too impressed with the Mudbath as there were tiny dead fish and leaves floating on top of the pool. Then we thought, ah well, we came all that way why not make the most of it and hopped in, and had a ball. Washing the mud off in the colder water was a bit tough but the thermal pool was even better ...

So Zeki came to the rescue, he got the overnight bus on Wednesday night, arrived here early Thursday morning, took me to the hospital, and then went back to Izmir that night. At the hospital I had an x-ray just as a precaution, but my bones aren't the problem its something else - we're just not sure yet. Afterwards I was given an injection to stop the pain and I've also got some strong pain killers ...

This is also a place where flamingos hang out for a while...and they are still white! I think they need some certain minerals to get their pink color. Our host at the hostel was very sweet and thoughtful with a VERY limited English. He noticed that my upper lip area was chapped and brought out his special medicine ...
