Another new experience
... of flooding was such that we were not happy to try and drive through the heavy floods to get to the camp. So we knew that there was a site at Equihen-plage. We followed signs and they took us to an aire - just a stopping place with gravel and a water dump and fresh water.
We settled down and let the storm blow over.
Another good night.

The first time on a campsite since I was a teenage
... the mud to get hooked up, we gladly took up our neighbours offer of a cup of tea.
They had been fulltiming, mostly in Spain for years. And they gave us some very useful tips. We will get a small electric kettle and a low power fan heater.
And so to food and bed - listening to the persistent rain.
Exhausted but having sooo much fun.

When A Door Closes Another One Opens
... in the workshop for another week where they make Christmas puddings and complete the final packaging for cat food to be distributed.
I enjoyed working in the workshop more because I felt I was helping more. It was also a good way to improve my French by just talking with people.
I'm going to miss France, I really love being there, I love the culture, the food and the language.
I look forward to every time we get to go back.

The Indians hideaway
... visited the Nausicaa centre in the dock area of Boulogne and of course a short drive to the Hypermarket to stock up on French essentials for home (Olive Oil, Vinegar, Couscous, Spices and wine, not forgetting Alcohol Free beer of course.
The town of Boulogne is one we used to rush through from the ferries that used to dock there, so this time we were able to wander the streets and enjoy the street cafe's and Saturday Market too.
