    ... very winding sandy trails. Losing our way extended the ride by 45min, so we really got our money's worth! While we were out on the trail, the boys did some shopping at a local market and played some arcade games. Classic pinball is always in style!

    We were lucky that the sun came out in the afternoon so we could take one final stroll on the beach before leaving the coast tomorrow. This relaxing week was a great way to wind down as our journey nears the end.

    Today we drove south to the town of Ypres which was almost totally destroyed in WW1. It is the site of the Mennen Gate War memorial that was developed by the Commonwealth War Graves Commission. It is quite a structure on the main road on the entrance to the city centre. The City has been totally rebuilt including the cathedral and the city buildings.
