... out of this world (sea lion show, dolphin show & Jet Ski Super Stars). The sea lion show made us giggle and shared the story of over fishing with the world’s oceans. The Jet Ski show blew us away and shocked us when men were throwing jet ski’s into the air!

... square and had a drink and ice cream then headed back to the hostel. Sat by the pool some more then had dinner. Not a great deal to do in Surfers Paradise other than sit on the beach or visit the fun parks they have there. We didn't feel like doing the later so spent our time sunbathing as it was so hot! Watched back to back Batman films in the hostel then headed out for a drink or two in the town. Saw a really good band too whilst out! Back to the hostel for midnight.
... Saturday nights are apparently big nights here, but that most definatly wasn't on my agenda tonight! Caught up with some wifi and then hit the sack. My last half day in Surfers, my bus is at 1.40 so I've got quite a lot of waiting around to do today. Checked out and then once again sat watching some tv. A couple of films later it was time to get on the bus to the terminal. I knew a couple of people on the bus so wasn't that bad journey to Byron. ...
... a rarity back in those days) … beautiful long- blond- haired Eryl took one look at these faces and said “lock the doors”… she wasn’t getting out for quids…. One of the sisters said “that would’ve been me back then, I’ve lived here all my life”…. And so it was that we drank together and had some good laughs.
