... on bench looking over the Argolic Gulf. Cute town surrounded by 3 old fortresses that they light up at night. We staying at Amalia Hotel. Our rooms are very basic and have funny smell. Like big time Frebreeze or cleaning product. As we were leaving our rooms the smell in hall was weird mixture of dinner and cleaning products. A couple on the tour asked us what that weird smell was? ... likes best and her sister is encouraging her to buy both??!! The lady in the shop turned to Deb and told her what a good sister she is!! But really 2 pairs for EU40 was a bargain!! This was followed by another divine meal which once again cost us EU35, a stroll around town stopping for Gelato which was only EU 1.50 per serve and the others tell me the same amount at home would be twice and much and Ouzo... tomorrow it's on to Monemvasia.
