We walked the town after we checked in to Hotel Agemmenon which had an interesting sea side view and a bit of a hostel feel but it fit the bill for one night. After dinner we strolled through the old ...

It was a port city used as the first Greek capital, before it was moved to Athens by King Otto. We saw Islamic fountains, Byzantine churches, and tons of touristy shops. One thing we didn't see: more than like two people. It was so empty, as Nauplio is apparently a very touristy, summery ...

... animals) or sail the extra 185 nautical miles around the land mass. The main archaeological site visited today was MYCENAE. Mycenae 'Rich in Gold', the kingdom of mythical Agamemnon is the most important and richest palatial centre of the Late Bronze Age in Greece.
