... all began on the train from the airport to downtown. We overheard people guessing what we were....Italiano...no, no, Americano..etc. then people kept speaking italian to us until it finally dawned on us. Got up at 06:00 to watch timed practice to find that Sport 24 is on GMT so had to wait 3 hours, had breakfast in the cabin then went ashore. Having spent so much time in Athens working we couldn't get excited about doing much so we caught the metro into Athens from Piraeus and spent a couple of hours looking around Plaka, had a couple of beers and.some calamari before returning to the ship.
