So this is our third and final stop before we head back to Athens. Aegina island is known for their pistachio cultivation, and it was also home to The Temple of Apollo and the Temple of Aphaea. The temple of Aphaea is still standing and was dedicated to a local goddess. You can still see the remains of the temple of Apollo. We did not take the option to go on an additional tour of the island so we did not see the Temple .Instead, we walked around the island ...

Located on the eastern part of the island, it is only 9 km away from the city of Aegina.

We take the coastal road full of picturesque coves and drive towards Plakakia.

I stop for a photo when we reach the Capralos Museum, but I am not going in because of lack of time.
