Stayed 3 nights - leaving 1-26-15 for San Antonio. Nice quiet campground. In the high 60's. Guadalupe river runs along campground. $26 per nite. Previously stayed at Navarro mills CG (oak park site 9). Rainy and cold. Saw white Pelicans on lake. Very nice CG there but hookups were were too far from camper. Couldn't use sewer connection as hose wasn't long enough. Bought longer hoses at Walmart in case that happened ...

... still feels very, very different to me on the road, and I feel nervous in a way I hadn't in the old one...hopefully that will dissipate soon!
We got all set up at our site here at the Colorado River Preserve (our first time here - it's quite a nice park!), but after lunch we realized that our power hookup wasn't any good. ...

... 8217; Colorado River is just outside our doorstep and presents itself as a lovely "picture window".

Groceries and 22" wiper blades are on the shopping list for today. We head to town and search out the local Auto Zone, only to find 23" blades for the RV. Well, guess it's better to get larger than smaller in this case. The old ones were over four years old and really don’t do the job anymore. Of course, this all originated from ...
