Proper Poutine at last, and Schwartz's

... Montreal happily reinforced our faith in poutine so much we had it twice.

Our first ‘proper’ Poutine was at the lovely Mache café on Rue St Denis restoring us after a traipse around old the old town and port. We carefully explained our misgivings and previous negative experience to a very nice waiter who insisted we gave it another go. Happily we did.

... hedghogs and lots of seabirds. I was hanging out for the sub antarctic zone which was next. They had gentoo, rockhopper, macaroni and king penguins there which was awesome. I spent about 15 minutes there just watching them swimming around and jumping. Right next door were a set of puffins which were just awesome and have now joined the ranks as some of my favourite animals. ... Agents name and email address for house next door to us. Peter and Margaret never mentioned selling a bit sneaky doing it while we are away but I will email the agent and tell him the dividing fence is not the regulated height of 1.8m it is 1.5m and we can see Peter's head when he is watering. We would like the fence at the correct height before they sell.

Our french is more catastrophic. Luckily, although everyone here does naturally flow into French, they can also just as naturally flow into English.
