Day 45: Sleep, Sleep, and Beef

A travel blog entry by nikl_us on Oct 15, 2014

As I finish my 45th day on the road, something weird has happened... I woke up in Bend, Oregon, at my friend Levi's house feeling very tired. I had gotten a full night sleep, so I just shook it off since we had a long, fun drive yesterday. We decided to go to the Original Pancake House, and I ordered my favorite breakfast, Swedish Pancakes! It has a similar menu to the Hawai'i version, ...

... found out two things, I cannot spend much time in cities like New York and the National Park system is completely epic for lack of a better description. Chat soon! Unfortunately no pictures because I realized I forgot the cord to plug in my camera at home...hopefully we can track one down in San Francisco tomorrow.

... called Maryhill as we saw a sign for a museum and needed a loo, turned out to be a mansion some guy called Sam Hill had built and his wife had refused to live in which has since been turned into an art museum, made use of the facilities, had a wander round the museum and then sat outside in the beautiful grounds and had a picnic lunch. Back on the road and we arrived in Bend around 4ish, Andrea and Garry wanted to go to ...
