    ... has ten breweries, some along the beautiful Deshutes River, which meanders through the middle of the town. We visited five of the ten and Bruce's all-time favorite brew was Deshutes Summer Ale. The river draws many people riding standing boards, kayaks and inner tubes, so it's quirt entertaining to watch from the many restaurant decks along the waterway.

Amazing number of Mercedes as taxi cabs… our guide indicated that Berlin is under populated for its size – initially we thought (tsk tsk) that the immense subway system was the reason as half of the population seems to always be in the long and wide spaces which contain, besides trains, stores, markets, restaurants and art displays.
