... go to the San Diego Safari Park rather than the more famous San Diego Zoo (its run by the same people). We both prefer to see the animals in more natural settings even if it means you sometimes can’t see them at all. Besides, cages are not conducive to photography. ... Rocket Fizz and bought him some Bacon/Chocolate Soda to go with the Jelly Bellies. When we got back the RV tech had just arrived and got right back to work on our slide-out. The diagnosis continued and he finally was able to move the slide in and out but discovered that one of the sensors on the lock arms was not working. ... busy and Karen and I really stuck out among the Peruvians. We were going to walk further down the road but a local man stopped us and told us it was not safe for us to go there alone so we walked back to the wharf. At the dock there were local vendors selling everything Peruvian, and we we able to buy a few things. The ship left port at 4:20, heading to Callao, Peru which is the port for Lima and the jump off point for us as we fly to Machu Picchu for the next 3 days.
... the cliffs to little sandy coves. Walking the hilly streets of OB, there are ocean vistas in all directions and flowers blooming everywhere. Though many of the plants are like those found in Fl, there were also many that were very different and, of course, being a dry area, there are lots of very interesting succulents.
Among the many sites we enjoyed were Point Loma lighthouse with tidal pools and views of the SD skyline, Torrey Pines and Sunset ...
