... 15 Canadian dollars.
Anyway, after lunch I jumped back onto the bus and got off at several
different stops and took lots of pictures. With the bus pass I got it
included a canal boat tour, so I decided to hop on that from the
London tower bridge back into Westminster. After the boat ride I
walled back to the hostal to shower up and change then off to dinner.

... another thirty minutes but the dude I spoke too was very helpful and got me all set up. Now all I have to do is get my National Insurance Number which I can do through the post.
In London I saw the changing of the guards, Buckingham Palace, Westminster, Big Ben...... umm I think that’s all. I didn't go into any of these places as I wanted to find BUNAC. On the Themes embankment there was a battle of Britain ...
... and working out the scheduling for the next outreach. Joseph was the motivational leader last outreach and now he is the men's leader! A step up! So please be praying for him as he leads our team! We have all women on our team except for him and the motivational leader. So please also pray for the estrogen levels to be maintained. :)
While Joseph spent these days in meetings and planning, I got to kind of do whatever I wanted, so I ended ...
... go clothes shopping on Oxford Street. The clothes in London are
far more varied, interesting, better and in many cases cheaper than
clothes found in Brisbane so we had been waiting for a chance to go buy
some of it. So far the only shopping we had done was in op-shops or
sales racks as we were trying hard not to blow any money before we had
jobs. So what I am trying to say is that now that we had jobs we could
buy clothes safe in the knowledge that we have ...
... differed though. I sat next to some really cute British ladies! Then it was back to the hostel for sleep. On Saturday Justine, Monica, and I embarked upon the most fearsome and ambitious journey EVER! We started at the National Gallery again to see some paintings that we missed the day before. Yay free art galleries and museums! Then we headed to Buckingham Palace and saw the changing of the guard. Ok, so we saw the guards ...
London, England, United Kingdom lemonylime11... upper deck. What a treat! We had a fantastic flight home being treated like royalty from champagne to food and films to bed, what more could we ask for on the second longest flight that BA flies?! Our fun journey home continued even after we had landed. We were given invitations to the Arrivals Lounge and, given that it was 5H30 in the morning, we decided it was not really necessary to rush home. Wow, what a brilliant way to end a flight - a shower, followed by a ...
London, England, United Kingdom jmabro... visited Hampton Court Palace, once the home of King Henry the Eighth. The palace is massive along with the gardens that include a hedge maze. Paddy's for dinner was exceptional, and my haircut in London proved to be the funkiest haircut I have had to date. My highlight of London: The theater with Lisa, we went to The Sound of Music.
London, United Kingdom lovetravelsI haven't posted for a few days. I'm sitting in the US Airways lounge in London waiting for my flight home. I'm more than ready. Since I've posted last... Saturday: Left Pondicherry to go back to Chennai. This equates to playing chicken for 3 hours on two lane roads. As I mentioned before, chicken in India includes cars, buses, trucks, people, animals, bikes, and ...
London, United Kingdom noumena12... you to those of you reading this who were able to make our leaving drinks in Marylebone on Friday night.
We had a fantastic time, as you can see from the photos below!
We'll miss you all but we're aiming to get online every day ...
... extensively in the classroom. Listening in to a tour group, I was able to predict her lines of dialog, and could have corrected some of them. Finally, the all you could eat Chinese food buffets were, while economically sound, lacking in quality and in safety. Spent a day in bed because of something I ate there. If you go there, tread with caution. Better yet, save yourself the money, time, and pain and just don't go to London. Apologies for bitterness. Thanks for reading.
