The next day, we go back in to town, The WAG stands outside the shop with the books hanging up in the rack and finds a nice mint copy, not only in English, but in a clear plastic bag too. The amazing thing about this artwork is that during the second world war the entire building was destroyed in a bombing, except for the one wall with the painting on. They have now rebuilt around it and created a high tech temperature controlled room to keep it safe from decay.
