A good location. Some traffic sounds pass through the walls and windows non-stop. Good service.

... on ferry. Decided to eat out at a wine bar that Stu's colleague Amy had recommended called Cantina Follie. Designed like a wine cellar they serve meats, cheese, bread and wine. We tried 5 types of wine of which Stu enjoyed 3! Progress. Met owner, Dutch man who was very welcoming. Bought two bottles Stu liked and two bottles I liked then worried about how to get that in car! Back at hotel and bumped into Edwina and Peter so enjoyed drinks in bar. Lovely end to great ...

... few buildings (again, covered in creeper vines) before we saw the little harbour where a lady was starting to dispose of some stale bread to the ducks. Our kids were quick to take the bread when the lady offered it, and it kept the kids entertained for ages. The ducks must be used to it as they were feeding straight from the hand. Our memory of Bellagio will be of the duck feeding on the other side rather than the ritzy hotels facing the harbour ...

Went to the market in Lennon, the weather was overcast and rain in the afternoon and evening. Went to our apartment to have roast chicken (from the market) with H&W with salad and bread. In the evening we went to Argegno for drinks. Happy hours....served with pizza, focaccia, cheese & honey, salami etc, all free of ...

... the local Italian combo ticket (they're trying to encourage local tourism) I've got the days transport ( both trains, 1 hr each and both boats, 2 hrs each) for €15 rather than €40 if purchased separately. Good if it works.... Two hours up to Bellagio, almost the milk run but a beautiful day and lovely scenery, impressed by this place and don't see it as over touristy. Reminds me somewhat of fjords as the sides are very close to each other, the mountains are steep, ...

... same charm as the Italian lakes so we swiftly continued on to Como.

On arrival it was time to finally don our snazzy rain macs and time for the locals to get their sunglasses out from the glare off them…we like bright colours, what can we say!

We walked to a piazza and had a light lunch while the rain came to a stop and then
strolled around the old town…we do love an old town! We ...
