A good location. Some traffic sounds pass through the walls and windows non-stop. Good service.

... couple of kilometres from here). Exhausted we make our way back down, gelato to power up, ferry back to home and cook up dinner.
Today we are back on the ferry to Como, walk along the foreshore to check out some large villas on the west side - now all owned by the Como Provincial Government, then onto the 'fast boat' and up to Menaggio which is midway north up the lake. The lake is 46km from one end to the other, so I guess we travel 20 ...

We arrived in this beautiful city at dusk so we weren't able to get the most out of it. Stayed there only for one hour and we spent that time in Parco Civico capturing the flickering lights of the city surrounded by mountains. The view from the shores of Lake Lugano was fascinating. It's truly a must-visit city and I'd love to go back and see it in broad daylight. ...

Abby and I left for Bergamo early on Saturday morning (4 am from our house exactly). We took a taxi to the airport. Once at the airport, we sat there for over an hour with nothing to do because apparently nothing in the Valencia airport is open that early. We hopped on a Ryanair flight and we were off. We arrived at the Milan Bergamo airport at around 8:30. We met a nice lady at the tourist desk who helped us ...

... you arrive at Bellagio, it is a town full of shops, hotels (3-5 star), restaurants, and other shopping places. Tip: You should immediately climb up the stairs in front of the ferry piers to the top to get an overview of Bellagio, and to beat the crowds heading there eventually. You will find a wonderful catholic church (Basilica of Giacomo) at the top, and the only 5 star hotel on the island along with more restaurants. You can walk ...

... Switzerland back in 2009. Today's a Sunday and everybody's out and about, giving the city an energetic feel--a welcome break from the somewhat drab towns I've been exploring lately. I check out the beautiful duomo--similar in style to Milano's mega-duomo... snap a few pictures, then head up towards the mountainside to begin my ...
