... to our selves and for once in my life i actually played pretty well either getting a strike or getting spares so i was pretty happy with myself! After here we headed to another few clubs ending up at the last club called the 'Bedroom' which was a nightclub full of beds and bar girls dressed in sexy corsets. Was a pretty good and messy night, i was dancing on the dance floor all night like a mad man waving my hands in the air probably looking a bit of a **** but i didnt care once ...
Surfers Paradise, Queensland, Australia stevenmoody... and cheesy and a couple other attractions which were great - but the best one was the Superman rollercoaster! This thing might have been one of the best coasters I've ever been on! The trip here was worth it just for this ride. It was a great day, and our last wee day in our van. We loved our van and the experience of it. We had to take it back to Brisbane so we decided to spend the night there and get a feel about the huge city.
Surfers Paradise, Australia andyandkirstine... up with our friends and made our way back to theres for dinner (our first ozzie bbq) and somewhere to park for the night. After that we headed into town to see what the night life at Surfers Paradise was like. It reminded me strongly of being 14 and trying to go out to a disco. I was wearing a dress which came down to my knees. This was the longest dress in the whole area. There were drunk teenagers everywhere ...
Surfers Paradise, Queensland, Australia beckyww... would do a really impressive lap around the pool, just swimming as fast as they could...which is much faster than I would have thought. The second show of the day was a seal show. This one was more of a story than anything. They had human characters along with the animals. The basic story was that the bad guy was over fishing so the sea lion and his cop friends had to try to catch him. It was a really cute show and once again the animals seemed ...
Surfers Paradise, Australia ziegler328... final with some locals at the RSL club) then onto Hervey Bay. We ended up staying three days in Hervey Bay and is definitely one of my favourite spots so far. From here we put the trusty Pajero on the vehicle barge and traveled the 30mins to Fraser Island. We had a great day 4wdriving - both through the bush tracks past fresh water lakes and along the eastern beaches. Only stopping to help British tourist driving Land Rovers who were stuck. The only down ...
Gold Coast, Australia kathrynandnick... I got the stadium and it was different than any other stadium I've ever been in. It just felt foreign, it felt like an indoor arena but it was outdoors. Brisbane, Australia jontheman... the Poms aren't all that cocky and the Aussies, ever the good sports, are. Friday, November 24 Day two follows a similar pattern on the field - Australia dominating completely. As I mentioned, Jane is well entertained by the antics of the largely male crowd. Whenever a beach ball that the crowd are bouncing around accidentally gets knocked onto the field, it is confiscated by a stern security guard. As he walks away with it, a crowd chant goes up ...
Brisbane, Australia jambo... to each door (1-5), with door 5 corresponding to the first wagon of the train and door 1 to the last wagon. When train arrives at the platform the doors open and guests move into the train, pulling down the shoulder harness and connecting it to the seatbelt so that it will stay down in the event that it releases. As the yellow "MRT" train departs the platform with its valuble human cargo, passengers are notified that the tremours are intensifying and told that the ...
