Managed to get into town again and found an insurance place. We were told that we could get a green card for the vehicle and given a price. We agreed to this and then went to a bank to get the money since they wanted cash. On return they then told us that we could not get the insurance and so now we are stuck on the border with lots of Paraguay money that we must change once we cross the border.
