Very noisy hotel our room is close to the lift entrance and you hear the doors bang every time someone walks down the corridor. The walls are a bit thin too so you can hear people talking glad we have our earplugs but we don't have to wear our blinkers as the room is nice and dark.
At 6am I was woken by a family with young children leaving early and then the steady stream of other people going. At 6.45am I couldn't lay in bed anymore ...
