... spot I regret that we did not go much earlier and stay longer. There is a path from the beach leading to a small chapel -I won't miss it the next time I am up there though!
Have in mind that there is a very small humble tavern somewhere around ….I miss the name now, but it is quite popular and its worth going there for a drink or some fresh fish (catch of the day) since the owner catches them ...
THE OLD BRIDGE OF TSAGKARADA
Upon entering the village the very first day that we arrived in Tsagkarada I noticed the sign that says "Old Bridge". How could I leave without walking out here!
There is a trail that brings you down to the forest from the village but I thought to take the shortcut since I had nobody to come along.

You reach the kiosk, turn right and then follow a narrow path downhill to get to the village of Lambinou.
Continue downhill on kalderimi to Lambidona monastery and end up at Lambinou beach.
It is an amazing 3.50 minute walk.
This is a provisional route containing several detours because there are times when sections of the original path remain blocked by vegetation.
