    Crazy TT Race and Emotional Connection

    ... and view races from different angles. The bikes go crazy speeds on narrow, windy and undulating streets and roads hitting speeds around 300km, with little release of the throttle for bends in the road! I had to have the camera on a very high speed and just hope that when I pressed the shutter that the bike would hit my pre focussed point as by the time you saw them coming the had wound past you too quick to focus!


    We watched one complete race ...

A mistake would in most cases certainly be fatal given the likelihood of coming into contact with a stone wall, a house or a tree.     ... and headed back. Bryan beat me by a half hour, and we decided to rug up and take the electric tram to Laxey and change for The Snaefell electric railway. Passed the vantage point of Bungalow, then reached the summit..... Hot cuppa in order! Blowing a gale. Saw bikes on the mountain road (visitors). Headed back to Laxey, walked around there and saw the water wheel, then home. Dinner, then bed - light till ...

    ... else- the mechanics crew did my on stage monitors so it was spot on. When I finished the song there was a moment of silence and then an eruption of applause. Really took my breath away. I played Dollybird and This Was Real and the crowd absolutely loved it- never had applause like it.

    Mike and the Mechanics all came up to me afterwards ...
