Well I must say it is a very different stopover in HK this week! We had 3 choices 1. Hook up a full bag of Doritos with elastic for around Max's ears...charf bag style to conceal the smell of airline coffee and food...and for an occasional snack 2. ... was 20 hours and most of the time I was actually sleeping. There were 6 beds in each 'room'. Bottom, middle and upper. Sometimes someone would go around with food and drinks while shouting. At night they turned of the light around 10pm. The dessert texture consisted of these small transparent balls, perhaps rice based, almost like oversized caviar. Anyway it was refreshing and delicious. The old streets without the benefit of escalators but equipped with steps are known as ladder streets. This is because the streets are so steep the flights of steps look like ladders. The few we climbed up and down felt pretty steep to us.
