... Use of the hotel card is needed to pass down a private road which snakes down the cliff towards the sea. At the bottom, however, it meets a public road which bears an even more uncanny resemblance to a Norfolk country road than the one on the top of the cliff. After a couple of miles it arrives at a rather run-down old-fashioned camping-cum-beach-chalet area with a stretch of tired looking sand. The inevitable beach cafe is pouring ...

We laughed at the pot holes. And the best part? We made friends with a lovely Romanian couple and their adorable baby girl. They introduced us to homemade Palinka (!!!), and warned us about the gypsies in Bucharest. And we drank beer! Just the ticket!

We woke up this morning to a gale force wind, dark low clouds and spitting rain. We almost turned over and went back to sleep. But here we were so we packed the wet weather kit and headed for the BlackSeaRama Golf course. It was incredibly windy, probably the strongest winds I have ever played in but it did make it interesting.... and in fact it didn't rain at all and did warm up but the wind made it a cool day; good day ...
