    ... getting the picture here!! The view was amazing although the heat and humidity makes it very hazy. We could see the sea and the 7 star Burj Al Arab on the beach and had 360 degree views of Dubai which you could clearly see from there is a city in the desert.     ... go to the Carrefour, but you load up and back home you discover that you have forgotten the water.

    Also decided to assemble the bike (remember the big box...) and take it for a ride. Not too many cyclists though. Felt great, but this is clearly not the routes I'm used to. I'll need to get myself informed on where to ride.

    ... whilst your passport was scowled at. The unlucky ones had the full Iris, retina scans done and were made to stand in a number of poses until it was deemed satisfactory. maybe I shouldnt be so harsh, I wouldnt have wanted to have been there at 4.00 in the morning dealing with everyone.

    Once back at the windmill Aussie said a big buggy goodbye to me as he was heading off to London to meet up with friends. Before he left us tho he assured me that my luggage would be accepted no worries as he himself brought two bags over this trip so it was all sweeeeeeeet.
