    This morning it was a 7am call for a 7.30am breakfast. We were all up before the breakfast call went. Went out on deck and took some photos of the glacier – could see the icefield at the top of the mountains.

    The Vikings were called first to go ashore and we went to the mud room early, not to push in – we waited until they were all lined up and going out the door – we then just joined the line behind them.

    ... where I meet up with one of my best friends that left 2 weeks ago, Amy. Had a nice time there a good catch up and a bit of shopping, then back to the ship to sail away again. This cruise is 12 days in Norway. Crossing the open water was a little rough but I was ok. First port of Bergen was nice, small little town. Explored the markets and just went for a drink.     Sim visited a Sami farm this morning, belonging to the Inga Sami Siida family. The Samis are Norway's indigenous peoples, related to the Inuits of Canada and North America. They live life well integrated into 21st century Norway, with a modern outlook, but with a strong cultural passion.
