... nearby Mount Agung, Bali's highest mountain and volcano. There was a heavy rain shower when we arrived and could only find shelter with a few chickens outside a small shop. Even they don't like to get wet!

We settled into our Balinese bungalow and planned our next few days in the area. Another reason we came here was to snorkel two ship wrecks that are unique in that they lie in ...

... have no idea how long this will remain a secluded resort.

In summary, Gili Trawangan is a quiet friendly tiny island with a very chilled relaxed atmosphere. There is a busy main drag for the party animals with plenty of plush resorts springing up all over the island not too far away. If you are a backpacker, get here fast, if you like your luxury best wait a few more years. Us, we loved it!!!

No sleep last night meant that some of the group returned early, with the others forcing a night out of ...

We were recommend to come here by many sources, not too much for its town but for what's going on underwater. The Liberty shipwreck sank over 60 years and it now attracts divers worldwide for its colonies of species calling it a home. Most people dive but we thought we'd snorkel to save money. It was a disappointment for ...

Today was our second day on Gili T. We had a nice lay in and a very relaxed breakfast just outside our room. The breakfast here is lovely as you get a fresh fruit salad and then a meal of your choice, I went for fried eggs on toast we spent the day by the beach just sunbathing and relaxing, I may have got a tiny bit burnt but am hoping it will just turn to tan tomorrow haha and we had lunch at the green cafe again. Today I went for a Greek salad and then bought ...
