    Our first day in Turkey was a very chilled one by the pool. Today, however, we decided to venture to Hisarönü (a 40 minute walk away) for their local market. Perhaps not a wise idea to walk in the 35 degree heat, we were relieved to finally arrive at the market and be under shaded cover. But this relief was short lived - the market was mad!     ... All aboard by 5:30 so we finally head back to the cabin to nap before dinner.. We don't wake until 8pm and miss the group dinner (Sean woke up rather confused thinking it was morning and we needed to hurry to breakfast).     ... While Gab and I were admiring the decorations and talking to our guide, the kids had found the candles and lit one each, luckily it was almost empty.
    We drove up the coast towards the Rhodes Acropolis, today just a few columns and an arch, the more impressive site is on the coast side as you look back down on the picturesque beach and resort areas.

    Final morning. Said goodbye to Ipek and Silar our wonderful hosts. They really are exceptional people. Ipek for her hosting qualities and Silar for knowing everybody in Turkey (it seemed) and for fixing anything that went wrong on anybodies boat.
