... to leave, we realised the food options consisted of ... pretzels. No food options other than pretzels!! The one saving grace was wifi on board! Yah!! Thanks to those who I chatted with, especially Nicci for talking me through the long wait for the toilet!! Finally arrived in Vegas at about 3am Washington time, midnight in Vegas. Airport very busy for the middle of the night.... some of the 150,000 reps for a tech conference were arriving! Oh ...
... to confirm my booking with Papillion. There was a giant stuff up with timing and pick up location so we needed to fix that when we got to our hotel which we did. We then met up with Dean and Kasey and had dinner and some giant frozen margaritas. It was a lot of fun. We all checked out the Bellagio Fountains and a few of the hotels on the strip. It was great to see some more familiar ...
- Woke up and went to Denny's to have breakfast
- Had an amazing bacon omelette!
- Headed down to Madam Tussauds Wax Museum for some fun!
- Went to the Nordstrom Cafe for lunch and had a tasty Grilled Cheese and Tomato soup
- After lunch, I visited the Old Las Vegas Mormon Fort
- I then headed to the Barrymore restaurant and had a nice burger for dinner!
- Went back to the hotel and was off to bed
... brought the worst out in me. I can see why they say "What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas". So I pushed the boundries, but hey, if having a drink in Las Vegas underage is the worst thing I could do, I'm pretty certain I can live with that.
Anyway I'm ruined. Can't wait for ya'll to read and see photos! Miss and love you all. Again I can pretty much only upload phone photos but trust me, we have taken about 1000 photos so far!

Well we knew vegas would be the spectacular part of our trip but WOW! We did not expect everything to be so big and bright. Arriving at the MGM to about a 3 mile long queue, we started to realise just how big this hotel was .. All around you just see the casino floor with slot and roulette machines. As you do, we read a few reviews beforehand with many people saying the room we booked was too small and always ask for a room next to the elevator .. Well ...
