    ... of the Jamm band perform at the lounge. Gloria, Bunting and Roger decided they were more interested in trying out the slot machines. As we walked to the lounge, we saw a throng of young people ready to party. We changed our minds about the lounge act and instead watched the 3 "players" contribute to the Las Vegas economy. Both Tony and I thanked them for contributing to our grandchildren's education.

    ... strip begging with cardboard signs in hand and a bowl for money. You had to laugh at some of the signs, MY WIFE HAD A SEX CHANGE THEN RAN OFF WITH MY GIRLFRIEND AND LEFT ME PENNYLESS, SPARE A DOLLAR. Another one, MY WIFE HAS GOT LOCKED IN THE LOO, SPARE A DOLLAR TO GET HER OUT. Another one, I AM 4 MONTHS PREGNANT, SPARE A DOLLAR. They all looked as if they had been well fed and probably went back to their Penthouse Suites forgive me for being cynical.

    Last night we discussed a plan of attack for today.. we`'re going to the Grand Canyon & it's gonna take us all day lol

    Got woken up by Mr Wolf at 5.30 am yep that's right am, at present hes not a friend it's way too early. We hit the road 5.45am yep again that's right...this was going to take us from Nevada to Arizona in about 4 1/2 hours 290 miles that's one way, & it's still dark out

    ... br> Next up was the Bellagio fountains. By this time, the Strip was fully lit up and getting busy. Three very different groups of people can be observed. (i) the casual day trippers in shorts and trainers, (ii) the going out group dressed up in skimpy dresses and towering heels and, (iii) the beach party goers dressed in bikinis and not a lot else!!
