    ... what happens while he is out watching us eat to all the other people who need bus info? Anyway we got home, drank in the hotel and chatted to some funny locals who all want pictures of course. I cannot end without saying that the children running around the streets bare foot are adorable here, they make less attractive adults but even I consider stealing one to take home. Finally the cats are tiny and have stumps for tails I also want to take one of these home.

    ... at the hotel. Given that after the flights all we wanted was a shower, some deodorant and a change of clothes, it was pretty much guaranteed that when we opened the bag, all it contained was a tent, sleeping bags, medical supplies and spare bike parts.The airline completely redeemed themselves though by getting the rest of our gear on the next Medan flight out of KL and delivering them to the hotel by Wednesday evening.
