      Try try again

So today we went back over to the storage place and turned on the generator. No problem, but then again the generator is built to handle 50 amps and everything in "G/G". Now I wonder if the inverter may be the problem. Not that it runs the refrigerator anyway, but........

      OH NO!!

Today we went over to the storage place to make some measurements for the trim around the refrigerator. While there, we decided to plug in for a bit to test the refrigerator. I wanted to remove all the packing stuff from the refrigerator. That's when ...

It seems we have some kind of rims and wheels in which rotation is discouraged. So even though our owners manual states that the tires should be rotated every 7500 miles, Texas RV said they do not require rotation. I'm concerned, but we've been told that twice now, so guess I need to keep an eye on the driver's front tire. They ...

      Getting ready for our trip

... is after all the longest vacation that either one of us has ever taken in our lifetime.

This trip is our "practice" trip (if you can believe it) for our big trip around the world next year (more on that later). After meeting with several families who have done such an expedition and reading a few books on the subject, everyone seemed to recommend that you do a "practice run" to see what's it's like to live with your kids ...
