From Roswell we drive to Carlsbad Caverns. The caverns are on the Unesco world heritage list, so we decide to pay them a visit. Located 250 meters under ground are loads of stalagmites, stalactites, draperies, soda straws and popcorn. Soda straws being the tiny ones hanging from the ceiling . In Europe we call them Spaghetti. Popcorn are located on the ground. The cavern is beautiful, but we saw an even more beautiful cavern in Slovenia last year, so were a little spoilt. ...

... on her head by herself and is working on putting pants on by herself. The pants are a bit of a struggle - I thought I ran across a mermaid today (check out the pic). She loves to play in the kiddie pool and now finds water on her face to be fun.
We are almost at the two-month mark and cannot believe how much she has learned in the short period of time. We are so blessed!
