Portland!!!
... to think that I will most likely NEVER go back there. It also reinforces the importance of trying to make the most of my time I do have, which I'm still trying to work out how to do. I don't want or feel the need to do everything touristy in each place (nor have the money) so finding a balance isn't always easy. Everyone does always say "never say never" but it is so incredibly unlikely that I will ever return to the states - unless I win lotto.

On Airport Check-In
... organized operation... lots of personnel reminding you to take it all off. Unless you are under 12 or over 75. I always keep my pockets free on flying days, so off go... shoes, purse, comptuer back- with computer in its own bin- and sweatshirt. As well as a baggie of 3 little liquids incl. a chapstick.

... Vergesst Dunkin Donuts, vergesst was ich über Tim H.'s in Kanada geschrieben habe und erinnert euch an "Voodoo Doughnuts" - ich sage nur so viel: Schoko-Doughnuts mit Bacon! Habe mir dann auch gleich mal das "Voodoo Dozen" gegönnt - das Ergebnis ist auf den Bildern zu bewundern.
