Historical Traveler Reviews of Embassy Suites Hotel Nashville-Airport
Great Stay
from A TripAdvisor Member
Stayed here for two nights in Sept. 2004. Loved the two room suite and the cooked to order breakfast. The room was very clean and quiet. However, upon returning to our room around 3:30 PM the 2nd day we found that our room had never been cleaned and had to call housekeeping to come. To their credit they did come immediately but I wish we hadn't had to call in the first place.
We really enjoyed the pool and the exercise room. We were surprised at how large the pool was.
Would definitely stay here again.
Embassy Suites June 2004

Stayed at the Embassy Suites Nashville Airport on a Saturday evening June 2004. Similiar to most Embassy Suites hotels. The staff was very good and accomodating. The room was quite spartan and didn't have the quality of furnishings of the better Embassy Suites. The only significant problem I had was that the wireless internet connection was slower than dial up. The signal strength was fine on the 9th floor but it was too slow to do any work so it was a wasted evening for me. I had no problem getting the internet charges reversed as the staff was understanding. Because of the internet problem I would recommend the Homewood suites which is very close.
Great for a business meeting too!

Came here for a two-day seminar. Meeting rooms were great, catering to the meetings was outstanding - coffee always hot, cold drinks in a refrigerator right in the room. Private party lunch was wonderful.
Complimentary Manager's reception (2 hours of free cocktails) and a complimentary cook to order breakfast (design your own omelet, eggs however, for the friendly short order cook) makes this place a value hard to beat.
Add to that true suites, separate bedroom and living room -- Embassy Suites continues their outstanding service and value for over 20 years that I've stayed with them.
Wish they had a nice walking path in this scenic area, but their exercise room has ample equipment.
More than satisfied.
Had a great time! Want to go back!

My wife and I recently stayed at the Embassy Suites Hotel at the Nashville Airport. Our purpose for the stay was a weekend visit with her family, who drove up from Mobile, Alabama. We had orginally reserved 2 adjoining rooms, but was pleasantly surprised upon check-in to get a two-bedroom suite. It was very nice. It was on a corner of the building, so it was quiet and secluded. I had concerns about airplane noise, being so close to the airport. But I don't remember hearing one airplane the whole time while inside the building. There happened to be a wedding going on in the lobby, so we watched from the railing. It was a beautiful setting. The pool area was very nice (but not enough towels), and the hot tub was HOT...just how I like it! The managers reception was very relaxing, and the breakfast was yummy and filling.
Staff was very friendly and helpful. They suggested great places for us to eat dinner. No matter the city, Embassy Suites has always been a great choice for us.
Too noisy

I have stayed here twice in the last 6 months. The first time, on a weekend, the hotel was full of pre-teens running around the hotel, up and down the stairs, and on the elevators. There was a room directly above us with 6 unsupervised children jumping on the beds. It took 3 calls to the front desk to get this resolved. The second time was on a weekday, but still, if you are a light sleeper, this is not the place for you. the soundproofing is terrible.

We stayed at the Embassy suites at the Airport last weekend. It was great. The accomodation was good, service was great, the staff were very friendly. The cocktail hour with live music was greatly relaxing after a hectic day. The morning breakfast had a lot of stuff, with a chef cooking to order. We did notice that refilling the buffet became slower after 9:30 am, which made several guests who woke up late end up with lesser choices. But hey, when there are still lots of stuff and its free, who's complaining?
Would definitely recommend it. Next time we go to Nashville, we are certainly staying here.

There was a family reunion going on at this hotel while we were there, as well as a LOT of families with children so it was very crowded, which explains why they manager's reception was so crowded and the breakfast staff had a hard time delivering a quality breakfast (thought they were all extremely pleasant about it) The hotel was very nice, clean and comfortable. The rooms were a litte musty, but nothing that the air conditioner didn't take care of. The pool area is attractive and well maintained. The free drinks were wonderful, and the breakfast was just ok, but it was free, so who's complaining. We enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it.

We were impressed with this hotel. The rooms were very nice and the bathroom roomy. They management was very helpful. The bed was comfortable as was the hide-a-bed for the children. The made to order breakfast was actually good. The indoor pool and fitness room were alright. You can also exercise at World Gym with your stay. They had a nice choices of in room movies. The decor is quite lovely. Make sure you see The Hermitage, Andrew Jackson's homewhile you are in town.
