On our way to Asia to visit and assess the client facilities in Malaysia. Hoping to see a number of sites in the off hours in Kuala Lumpur. Tonight's flight is a connect with my colleague Mike in SFO. So far both of our flights delayed. (Insert frown ...

We stop at a Chevron for gas which costs $45.92. For breakfast, Buddy and I went to a vegan restaurant named Seva. We Tofu scrambled eggs, fruit, and 2 blueberry smashes. Afterwards, we visited the Detroit Institute of Arts and saw some amazing portraits. We then visited the Motown Historical Museum. Couldn't have asked for a better day .... So much to see, so fascinating, lots of walking in the glorious sunshine.

In fact, I think I can hear London Calling. But, until I can answer the call, I prepare, pack and spend the rest of my time here with family and friends. (Packing pictures uploaded).

      Letters Home from Japan
      2012

      Day 9

      It was up early and
our gypsy caravan made its way to the train station for the final time. Victor had a lengthy conversation with a rail
system worker about the correct train to the airport. I continue to be amazed and impressed with
his language and confidence. I missed
him the day before at the Seven Eleven where I bought what I thought was a bag
      of wasabi flavored potato ...
