Toen het duidelijk was dat ik niet in de pit terecht zou komen, ben ik weer teruggegaan naar de pre party (als je in de pit terecht komt, wordt je tussen 17 en 18 uur al naar binnen gelaten ... mijn voeten vonden het ook niet zo heel erg dat mij dit bespaard bleef).

I am still at home. Only one more week. Being away from my home for three weeks requires a lot of preparation. I even know the movie that are going to have on the Flight. I am tired already!! Since I will be on a plane for almost 24 hours, I am collecting all the necessary stuff needed to be comfortable.

The show was an absolute blast, Mitch was great, and I laughed so hard. It was exactly the break I needed.

We then went next door with some of the cast to get a couple drinks and chat. It was a great night. Everyone I met was so nice, friendly, and funny. Thank you for a lovely night!

On to Kalamazoo... which if nothing else provides much joy in saying its name :)

Phew... Going through US Customs was a bit trying... No searching but a lot of questions meant - I supposed - to catch us with something bad... Who knows. We did not loose any meal. Longer day than expected but we grinded the flying condo to a halt. No problem other than a sticking lock on the propane door.

"out to dinner with friends, back tomorrow" was the reply. no problem in that you'd think. except we had all our camping gear in the back of the car. "so what the hell is all that for?" he asked, "get out of the car." what happened next shall forever remain between myself, my brother and the all too enthusiastic 'searcher', as i will, rather reluctantly, call him.

... where we also did for the next three days. The night was spent talking, laughing and catching up on old times and seeing Sach's collection of personal photographs. We did not realize that we had gone into the wee hours of the morning until we retired.
