... about gas... It got hot as hell. And I couldn't escape. I thought this heat was supposed to be dry!! Nope, not in Texas. I couldn't get away and for parts of the drive I was forced to us my AC. It uses more gas and more strain on the engine, especially temperature (and it's already hot) so I didn't want to use it much. Even for one stretch of the drive, they tell you to turn your AC off to prevent engines from overheating. Good advice ...

American Airlines nearly ruins my trip....my original flight which was supposed to leave at 10:10am never leaves the ground....at 11:45am...AA has another flight bound for Tokyo and because I have carry-on luggage only, I'm allowed to board the flight and make it to Tokyo with 40 minutes to change planes and airlines ( Japan Air, they rock!!) . American Airlines...never again you *******s.

I made it to Dallas from Houston just in the nick of time! We landed in Dallas around 6:30 pm, but by the time we got to the gate and de-planed, it was around 6:50 pm. I had found out that my plane to London was to depart around 7:00 or 7:10 pm and was on schedule.
