... something I'd not had before and something totally American. So biscuits and gravy it was. So the biscuits are basically a savoury scone and the gravy is kind of like a cheesy white sauce. Not what I would imagine biscuits and gravy to be. Loved breakfast but we had the most annoying screechy women on a table next to us we ...

Glad to be back in the car we headed home but first picking up some Malibu ready for our night out. We got showers when we got back and then slobbed on the sofa doing our nails. They ...

Work let out early on Thanksgiving-Eve (hurray!) so I finished a few errands and headed out. Russellvile to Frisco is around a 5 hour drive so I got in a little after 8 pm. Construction zones were everywhere although, thankfully, most of them were shut down and both lanes open in preparation for all the people traveling. ... A little post trip anecdote: when I returned home, a dating app I have was still reading as though I were in France, so I was getting profiles of French men. Before I reset it, I clicked on a guy I thought was interesting, just for kicks, and then promptly forgot about it. The next morning I received a text message that said, "Bonjour, Patti." Just plain fun. We've exchanged some texts and he told me he is training for an Iron Man triathlon for next year.
