    From Roswell we drive to Carlsbad Caverns. The caverns are on the Unesco world heritage list, so we decide to pay them a visit. Located 250 meters under ground are loads of stalagmites, stalactites, draperies, soda straws and popcorn. Soda straws being the tiny ones hanging from the ceiling . In Europe we call them Spaghetti. Popcorn are located on the ground. The cavern is beautiful, but we saw an even more beautiful cavern in Slovenia last year, so were a little spoilt. ...

    ... is more of a first birthday tradition to have a smash cake but we thought it would be fun - and it was!!

    The next day, we went to Mama's work where there was a grand Elmo party. It was great to see everyone. Addy really enjoyed the salami and honey sesame cashews!     ... at the center that just seems to shine directly at you. Shortly afterwards, Dad began complaining of a sore throat, so we went back to the apartment to rest since we had tickets to see "Wicked" that night.

    The show was amazing. Loved the spin on the wicked witch that made her a heroine. However, we took the tube there and back. It was drizzly and cold. Bad idea.

    Next day, Tuesday, Dad felt worse. Much indecision about whether to continue our trip. ...
