... college. Should be fun.<br><br>The day started with a way-to-early 7:15 a.m. flight from Cincinnati to Miami. We luckily found a direct flight (both ways) that was also the least expensive. Direct flights are great way to start a vacation because they are relatively stress free. Changing planes is just never fun.

SadVille/akaCincinnati, Kentucky, United States polesana... the opportunity to know her and the rest of her family as we embark on this journey together. Life experiences are so much better when they are shared. I am wondering if we'll have to change the passports when we get back from the trip to read, "McCarron-Dunn-Reier" or "Dunn-Reier-McCarron!" I have a feeling that we'll be like one big family upon our return. <br>I, too have been scouring through all of the reading material I have been able ...
Milford, Ohio, United States ldunnreier... At least, he better have only been there, because I definitely stopped watching. Can you say under-used? Then I watched "Sunshine Cleaning." Good movie, not so sure about the message, but Amy Adams was awesome, of course.<br><br>Got a couple hours of sleep, not enough, though. I could have stayed awake but the time change kicked me in the face enough as it was. Majorly tired by the time I got to London...five hours ahead of time at home, and with too much to do.<br>
Cincinnati, Ohio, United States howlingcoyote19... way. Indeed, there was a curvaceous blonde, hair streaming down her back maneuvering it through the traffic.<br><br>"Hey driver! Am I coming through?" from another voice.<br><br>"Loud and proud!" from a female voice which set off a few interested comments which was followed by a warning to a specific trucker about a "4 wheeler" coming up on his tail. Always good entertainment for surviving a traffic delay! We soon passed the delay and were rolling across ...
Cincinnati, Ohio, United States lacasarodante... really know what you're doing on that one?! <br><br>Also figured out it's going to be one GIANT birthday celebration while there for Patryk, Jim, and Malia! The planning for the trip is just as much as the trip itself. Found an awesome website that posted an article on driving that has me glad I won't be doing the driving! This "must read" is at: http://www.irishcultureandcustoms.com/A travel/Driving1.html<br><br>Here's to the next part of planning the trip!<br>
Milford, Ohio, United States ldunnreier... deal. We knew the Desert Highway well by this time, having already gone back and forth several times. Taking the bus was interesting, however. We were the only Westerners on the double-decker bus, but were treated very kindly by everyone. Jordanians are very hospitable to visitors. There was a stewardess who came down the isles several times offering tea, coffee, soft drinks and water for sale. She kept tabs for people as we went, and only collected the money right ...
Cincinnati, Ohio, United States joelmeeker... a local Mexican place that seemed clean but busy and decided that it might be a great local place to eat... and it was. The service was slow but the food and drinks rocked. So I sit here this lazy Sunday afternoon in bed thinking of all of my friends I have back home and around the world. I miss everyone and think of this adventure as something to help me in my career. Only 21 more days to go! Hugs to you all... Chris
Cincinnati, Ohio, United States ctocity... in "the hood" in an RV towing a boat was quite an experience. My daughter learned some new choice words as Brett attempted to weave through the parked/defunked cars on the city streets. Wish I had taken a picture of the locals with their mouths agape, like they don't see a RV towing a redneck boat, complete with homemade tarp/wood cover every day. We didn't stop in this part of town, but if we did I'm ...
Newport, Kentucky, United States cochranfamily... Upon sitting up and spitting blood and dirt out of my mouth, I realized that I had broken my arm. "Oh ****, Kelly's going to kill me," I said to myself as bloody drool oozed down my chin. After getting the attention of the ski patrol, which wasn't too tough because some poor girl had broken her leg and pelvis just up the hill from me, I had about forty five minutes to spend alone with my thoughts. Thoughts like: "We don't have any insurance ...
