          ... the 8:30 am choir practice early to present cards and gifts of appreciation from everyone to the choir director, his wife, and the choir pianist. Some of the choir members were absent, but the director was anxious to begin, so I just went ahead. Then back to our room to freshen up for morning services.           Other things we did in the last couple of days were grocery shopping and clothing/gift shopping. I found a blouse in Kohl's, Heather purchased a pretty dress in JC Penney's, and Heidi bought a really nice skirt and top in Marshall's. There were various game booths set up, where you could earn tickets for tossing a ball into a goal, bursting balloons with darts, taking part in a scavenger hunt, playing bingo, working a jigsaw puzzle, or getting your face painted.
