... Patrick and Kathy for their part in our present circumstances. Without them, I’m not sure what we’d be doing but with them, here we are running around all over the place. Patrick couldn’t join us for lunch, but Wendell and I drove to our favorite restaurant…Felipe’s Taqueria…on Foothill at Archibald in Cucamonga. We were disappointed to learn that Felipe had sold the restaurant in 2005, shortly after Wendell’s ...

For the rest of time I was in LA I hung out with my friend, Michael Gooch, and got a pleasurable taste of being a local in LA. It was great not doing any touristy sightseeing and just hanging out doing the local thing.
OK, so I did one touristy thing, I took a walk down Hollywood Blvd to see the Chinese Theatre with all the palm prints in the sidewalk and the stars up and down the street.

... pool table to the back and a bat that runs down one side. Obviously because we are in California there is a no smoking rule but there still is an area out back which is full of the naughty smokers and that's where we headed. To be fair that surprised me as i thought that especially in LA it would be the ultimate taboo but it seems that is just another myth that has been broken. After a few ciggies and a game of pool with one of the locals of which when it became apparent that the rules are ...
Los Angeles, California, United States elrigster... but it was cool, the sun was out and we cruised round, music blasting loving it. Al Pacinos house was defo the best. We didnīt get to go to the Hollywood sign but we could see it all the time from afar. To save an expensive taxi to the airport the next day we got on the buses again, having planned the route online I knew where we were going. Only thing was we had to change near South Central so I was a bit scared. Turns out itīs not too bad down there, in Inglewood anyway.
los angeles, California, United States warty007... company logo and the scattered Mr īEdī on the end of the line would offer us up a old bomb car to drive around but he pulled up in our flash little 4 door that was probably the nicest car Íīve ever driven... Then, watch out Los Angeles, Keithaīs on the road!!! The other-side-of-the-road driving experience went better than expected without any major crashes, incidents or mortalities. I only had one crazy-foreign-driver-moment ...
