    ... third, it was so quiet we didn't hear it coming and by the time we realized what was happening it was too late to get a photo. It would be a serious understatement to say that watching the parade was fun - it was REALLY fun! We got a kick out of seeing the floats we had seen being decorated.     ... is pretty easy to find. Our hostel was right on the Walk of Fame and 2 minutes from the Chinese Theatre where a lot of the premieres happen. We had to pay $20 a night to park again.

There were croissants, muffins, sandwiches you could put in the toaster, yoghurt, fruits, orange juice, hot bacon with eggs, potatoes and there was a separate corner where a guy from the hotel baked eggs, omelettes and waffles with whatever ingredients you would like.     ... as their goal, being a Saturday, during school holidays! Fortunately we were going in the opposite direction to the traffic which was stopped, at lunch time, through the canyon.
